Reminder: High school volleyball practices begin August 23rd. Week 1, Aug 23rd - 27th, practices are from 3:30 pm - 5:30. Players need to bring a sack dinner. After week 1 practices are 3:00 - 5:30pm. If there are questions, please contact Coach Pennington at cpennington2@winlock.wednet.edu.

Greetings Winlock Community, The regular scheduled board meeting on 8/18 will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Winlock HS Library. Below is the Zoom link and Agenda. 6th Grade/Middle School New Student Transition: August 23rd from 4-5:30 pm. All 6th grade and new students to the Middle School are encouraged to attend this event. The focus will be on tips for success, the importance of attendance, course and club descriptions, handbook review, campus tours and team building activities. There will also be prizes and snacks at this event! Students will receive their schedules and 1:1 devices during this time. Parents are welcome to attend. Freshman/High School New Student Transition: August 23rd from 5:30-7:00 pm. All Freshman and new students to the High School are encouraged to attend this event. The focus will be on tips for success, the importance of attendance, course and club/sport descriptions, graduation credits/pathways, handbook review, campus tours, and team building activities. There will also be prizes and snacks at this event! Students will receive their schedules and 1:1 devices during this time. Parents are welcome to attend.

Fall sports for Middle and High school students is right around the corner! Parent meeting for HS Football will be Tuesday August 17th at 6:00 pm at the HS Football field. MS/HS Volleyball parent meeting Monday August 16th at 6 pm in the HS gym. MS/HS Cross Country parent meeting will be at 4 pm on Monday August 17th in the HS commons. Masks are required in the school building. Thank you for your coorperation and support! Go cards!!!

At this time the Middle and High School have supplies on campus that will be utilized along with each student's school assigned 1:1 device. Students may bring personal supplies that they feel they will need to be successful. Recommended supplies: pens, pencils, spiral notebooks, and college ruled notebook paper. A backpack is recommended for Middle School students. The first day of school is Monday August 30, 2021.

Reminder: The second round of COVID 19 vaccinations are scheduled for tomorrow July 17th from 9 am - 12 pm at the Winlock Middle School gym. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is also available but limited in quantity for those who missed the first round. Have a safe and great weekend!

P-EBT Update! If you still have not received your child's P-EBT card, please directly call the P-EBT hotline at 833-518-0282. A P-EBT representative will take your current information and send you a new card and discuss the amount you should expect to see on the card when it arrives. Please DO NOT call DSHS for the P-EBT card. IF you have recently received your P-EBT card, the funds loaded on the card are for the months of February and March. Please check your card balance by mid July to view your funds covering the months of April, May and June. At this time, all cards are not loaded with funds for April, May or June yet. They are stil in the process of gathering data from other schools, which has created this delay. The P-EBT team has assured me they are working to get all Winlock Students caught up for the months of September - January as well. Again, thank you Winlock Community for your patience as we work to provide the most updated information on the P-EBT cards. P-EBT UPDATE: Thank you families for your patience while we work with the DSHS and OSPI systems to increase the movement on P-EBT distribution. These systems have identified the problem and have increased urgency on our case. We will continue to keep you updated on this situation within the next week.
