GRANT DOLLARS AT WORK IN WINLOCK

Winlock School District works hard to maximize the funding we receive from the state and local community by applying for grant funding whenever possible. 

In fact, 10% of Winlock School District’s budget is grant-funded–that’s a lot! We work to secure grants to minimize the amount of funding we ask for from our local community. Since grants are often for only 1-2 years and for specific purposes, we still need the support of our local community to fund enrichment activities and staff above the state allocation. Our local EP&O levy makes up 13% of our budget.

So far this school year (2024-25), we have applied for and received more than $1,175,000 in grant funds, including:
